Thanked: 131It has been such a very long time since i've been on SRP. An extended hiatus i'd say. No reason, just the way it turned out.
But I thought those of you who have posted on this thread deserved to know the news. Yesterday my wonderful wife gave birth to a beautiful baby boy:
Douglas Alexander Ogilvie, born at 6:14pm GMT on 20th January 2010 in Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley. 8lb 14oz at birth, mum and baby both very well and recovering nicely.
Thank you all for your support and well wishes throughout. A particularly HUGE thank you goes out to Silver who so kindly donated so many wonderful baby things that will help us so very very much!

Beautiful baby. Enjoy the time as it goes SO fast. Everyone says that, but it's true; you don't realize it until you realize it. Ogilvie? I'm familiar with a small town known as Ogilvie, Minnesota.

Congrats on the wee bairn SK. He looks a happy chappy.
