Now that's one of the best hangover stories I've ever heard! Not only did you get do drink like a lunatic and not worry about it, but also you get a kid as a prize for being really drunk! Cool! But that should teach you something: if you drink really hard your wife will get preagnant...
Congratulations to you both! And I've learned a good lesson myself: drink too much when you want to have kids?...

Thanked: 131I am so confused now. You see I followed the link that was attached to the picture in the post:
Infant bodysuit - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The link actually goes to a link for 'Infant babysuite'.
And the page there said:
"Other names include Onesies (a registered trademark often used in the United States as if it were generic; see below), creepers, diaper shirts, babygro, or snapsuits."
Looking up sleepsuit on wikipedia redirects to the following page:
Blanket sleeper - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The difference seems to be that a sleepsuit has legs?
I remember wearing the latter and I remember my mum putting my yourngest brother in the former. Thats what she always called them.
There are a load of alternative terms for sleepsuit but vest isnt there.
The article does say:
"In British English, the term with a meaning closest to that of blanket sleeper is sleepsuit, but it is also known as a romper suit."
The wiki page for vest makes no reference to infant wear.
And what have I learned today? Nothing. I am even more confused than I was when I woke up. It may only be 08:38 but I think you are right Silver. I have ALOT to learn!

You will be fine my friend. There is plenty of time to learn the lingo and the difference between what you really need opposed to the junk they try to tell you you can't live without!

Hannah has arrived...
Thought I would piggy back onto this thread rather than start a new one - same topic. Our wee girl arrived on Friday morning - 7lbs 10oz and called Hannah Jenny. Both mum and wee girl are fine. I became a hospital porter, racing the bed with Ali on it down the corridor booting the 'careful wet floor' signs out the way. Why don't they just print on the floor 'this floor is probably wet' as they mop so frequently. Got her in with 4 mins to spare before Hannah came out. No time for drugs or anything - neither did Ali
cheers
Stephen
