Wait...really? I thought this was going to be a humourous anti-Peta thread.
I'm a animal lover and an animal rights supporter. I applied for a job with ALDF! But PETA is just a little too whacky for their own good.

The security level must be way down in the WH if an uninvited fly can make it to such an interview!

it's a damn shame Obama didn't kill some hippies. then, I think, the right would take him more seriously.

i seriously knew it was only a matter of time till PETA was involved with this incident. Its pretty sad that the world is so PC and girly IMHO..and thats the only way i can describe it.

you've all been had, it's obviously a joke!
I gotta hand it to Barack though, he got game
Yeah, I can't believe the white house is bugged. It didn't pay to be a fly on the wall during that interview, did it

Benefit of WHAT doubt? They might not be born of maggots? They might be capable of higher-order sentience, and thus deserving of moral consideration on the order of mammals? That they might have been turned into some kind of half-fly half-human hybrid due to some half-baked scientific experiment gone horribly wrong, and are actually shrieking in horror as the oh-so-painfully NOT invisible hand of the big bad government comes down mercilessly to squash out their "Flies are people too" lifeforce?
Sorry, it appears I've had a bit too much coffee, and a tad too little sleep....

that's fantastic! i tried to get one on my thigh the other day laying in the hammock with my daughter, swatted myself so hard you could make out my fingers. and I missed!
I hate flys, if they serve an actual purpose somebody please let me know. other than maggots, which eat rotten dead flesh, I don't see where they're beneficial.
