I will answer him, but he might already know this. Dems have no moral high ground in this area. Do some research and you can find out too. Add that with the 501c3s and it is enough to make one puke.
Is not GM a corporation? Lots of union votes. I know it is all good if your side wins. Problem is that we, you and I are on the same side regardless of how you are registered. The political class, corps, banks, insurance companies and a few very powerful men are on the other side trying to save us from ourselves. Take our personal freedoms away to save us from ourselves. This Nobility class is nothing new guys..... We are way too stupid and need to be controled and even our respiration output must be limited to satisfy the new age gods.................
Climate is going to change with or without our puney pathetic policies, always will as long as this rock has life in it.
Keep track of solar cycles, look up dalton's minimum and the maunder minimum to see how fast climate actually does change. Do global CO2 and other longwave blocking gases offset the cooling? I am not so arrogant or gulable to answer. I get confused just trying to figure out what little particles are doing in a laboratory flaskThe climate is easy to predict if all you are going to say is that it will change.
It is foolish to think we can modify it idealisticaly in our present world. If we lose our enlightened culture and refuse to protect it, will the next tribes respect what we learned?? We are trying to do things better and cleaner. That is the promise of real science, the unsung heroes that remain nameless that saved or will save you and gave you a better quality life.
But the simplistic truth is that the global warming argument is shrewdly turning into a global climate change in the "scientific community". Funny, I was just talking to a couple a amatuer radio operaters regarding the last two years of low sunspot activity. We had a brutal winter even here in Florida.
How can you go wrong with that kind of forcasting? Some scientist say we are already in an ice age that has been offset by CO2. Does that mean if we were not as active on our planet, it would have killed off billions? An ice age will come again, and maunder minimums are emminent, possibly begining one now. Pretty cold winter in Europe? Funny, when I talk to educated people from Italy, Austria and Germany, this is all common knowlege over there. It makes me feel embarassed to tell them how little people in the states understand of the last 700 years.
Still, I am not so arrogant to suggest we are not doing something on some scale, what>don't know and not ready to buy in to anything other than what has and always will happen, and that is climate change.
My blood chills and my collective memory can see massive suffering that started not to far from my Savoca home in the hills. not far from the Port of Messina, as the ships bring in the deadly plague that I survived but many to the North were not so lucky. The cold weather kills all the northern vinyards, they drink beer and eat grains. There immune systems weaken from the new diet, poor in vitamins and minerlas. Many, many die......
We are the decendants of the worst plague on earth. We need to work together and be prepared....Is that what our leaders are doing??? Do you really trust them??? Have they ever been any different throughout our own collective history????Read the graffiti on the walls of the ancient homes in Vesuvius... How little we have learned, how well the few on the top understand the importance of our division, they are wicked and know what they are doing.
Close your eyes, remember, you too are the heirs of that cold poison world. How did we survive????Was it politicians that kept us warm and the black death from us..Did they offer comfort? With all their power could they stop it, even the benevolent ones??

Thanked: 19He didn't say anything about the Democrats nor did I. The majority of Republicans do deny global warming. I'm not really sure what the above has to do with that.
I'm still confused as to what you are trying to say in this post? That we shouldn't do anything about global warming?
