Yes, I have. Really, I don't want to discuss this on this thread, I would just like to exrpess my deepest sympathies with the vicitms and thier families. All I meant was that there seems to be more than just extremism here. My good friend went insane shortly after I graduated from college. He would claim that we were killing the earth with poison from cars and fast food. He knew it because Jesus told him so in dreams. He knew it because Jesus told him through his ceiling fan while he was awake. He attacked my car with club, then sat on the ground, rocking and crying, hoping that he had pleased Jesus. Was he a Christian extremist? Maybe...but there was more involved.
Like I said, it seems to be the ase that more was involved. I could be wrong.

Sad about your friend. But my point is that this is not an icolated incident.
All around the world we see terror like this. And the one thing most of this tragedies has in common is ISLAM.When will we wake up from our slumber?! They meen us harm.I will respect your wish to not discuss this anymore.I'm just so angry, and also worried for our societys future...

Thanked: 1262Well.. We are fighting extremist on 2 fronts with the US Military and more covertly with the various government agencies.
I know saying that we ignore it is a good way to produce this massive outrage and boost talk show ratings, but I dont think it is true at all.

Ignore it ?! Nothing could be further from the truth. We (Our heroic leaders and media that is) are doing everything they can to cover it up.And with all due respect, could your attitude come from living some protected place in Ohio, and not in lets say a european city that is densly populated with muslims?
Regards Kristoffer.

Thanked: 1262I interact with quite a few muslims every day at work. I guess i'm my attitude is affected by the fact that none of them have tried to kill me, as far as I know.
But... We are not directly fighting muslim extremists right now? US Soldiers are not dieing at the hands of extremist and killing extremist every day?
Maybe you ignore it in Norway, dunno. But i hear plenty in the states.
/goes back to his protective Ohio cocoon.

Thanked: 13245Islam: The religion of peace????
I am opening a separate thread here for this discussion
It seem that we might need some venting and some understanding
Remember don't make this personal between members here, try and keep it civil between us...

Thanked: 13245I agree this should be interesting, I have been doing quite a bit of research on this Religion...
The change from the peaceful beginnings of Mohammed's teachings, to the war like teachings after he was in power are rather interesting to me...
