ACLU and The Socialists/Communists who have gotten into our government and institutions at all levels.
Not just Christianity, but the whole fabric of our society.
I'm afraid they may have done it too. They said they would.
The following quote from Nikita Kruschev:
“We will take America without firing a shot…….We will BURY YOU! We can’t expect the American People to jump from Capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small doses of Socialism, until they awaken one day to find that they have Communism. We do not have to invade the United States, we will destroy you from within.”

But we are a very Socialist country today, and becoming more Socialist by the week. People who lived under Communist and Facist rule say that America is heading in that direction. I believe them. We are no longer free in this country. You can say it and sing about it, but it isn't true.

Thanked: 143Old news, but germane: Putin's advice on socialism... Putin Speaks at Davos - WSJ.com
Example quotes:
Excessive intervention in economic activity and blind faith in the state’s omnipotence is another possible mistake. [In context he means it *is* a mistake that might *possibly* be made.]
...
The concentration of surplus assets in the hands of the state is a negative aspect of anti-crisis measures in virtually every nation.
...
In the 20th century, the Soviet Union made the state's role absolute. In the long run, this made the Soviet economy totally uncompetitive. This lesson cost us dearly. I am sure nobody wants to see it repeated.
Nor should we turn a blind eye to the fact that the spirit of free enterprise, including the principle of personal responsibility of businesspeople, investors and shareholders for their decisions, is being eroded in the last few months. There is no reason to believe that we can achieve better results by shifting responsibility onto the state.
We now return you to the discussion of "Organizations with the specific intent to bring Christianity to its ultimate demise".
I am not aware of any organization that has this as a primary goal, but I suspect there are factions in the Democratic party that may have this as *a* goal and the ACLU probably has it on its list. I think both conveniently ignore the last part of "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof" and also ignore the context of (not) making a *law*. Note also this mentions only one branch of the government -- the legislative.
There are probably some organizations that Google would turn up that hava as their *primary* goal the elimination of Christianity but they are probably quite insignificant.Last edited by TexasBob; 12-28-2009 at 07:33 PM.

There is a possibility that the Eccumenical movement is one, also the Rick Warren type of infiltration of the church. It is moving Christianity away from solid doctrinal teaching into a pseudo-Christian religion.

I'm not sure that this would be considered an organization, as only one man is represented here. But this is an example of an atheist who talks about, and would love to see the end of christianity. I've watched a few of his videos on youtube and he constantly rants about things like how parents shouldn't be able to raise their kids in a faith based home, and other ridiculous suggestions. This guy is definitely a millitant atheist - so don't tell me that all atheists want to peacefully coexist.

Why is nobody bringing up the University of California and in particular the Berkeley campus?
And what about our own JMS, his intentions are clear from his actions - I bet his purpose of starting this thread is to find all these organizations in order join them.
