Thanked: 431Maybe so Ivan, and that can be a good thing. But it does charity efforts no favors to get up there and say that the earthguake is a result of Copenhagen. It's just retarded.

I've no idea who mr Glover is (probably someone with influence), but his statements seemed to be little 'strange'.

I listened to the clip and it was pretty incoherent. I'm assuming that bit at the end about the climate change summit is the reason you posted this?
It seems like you're grasping at straws, though. I mean, both Glover and Robertson are well-known people - but the difference is, one acts likes a spokesperson for God and has an audience that is crazy enough to believe that he is, while the other is just some actor nobody's heard of since the Lethal Weapon movies.
Don't worry, you'll find something that carries the same weight - you'll probably just have to bide your time.

Thanked: 259that figures. you missed the point completely or just ignored it. the point being that both the right and left have people that make serious blunders.
i could reference many comments both right and left that are both stupid and outlandish. this thread was in response to the one about pat and his big mistake.
calling all of pat robertsons followers crazy shows how intolerant you are of someones views that you do not adhere to. calling someone crazy for their beliefs in Christ and his teachings taught by someone(anyone) is ludicrous.
danny glover has been all over the news for the last few years. all you have to do is look and listen for him and he pops up quite often.

If I ever miss your intended point, know that it's likely to do with your slippery grasp on the English language.
In this case, no, I'm not wearing my "blunder blinders." I think Glover sounded like a babbling idiot in that recording. However, I understood the point he was making. Like Robertson (I'm assuming), he wants to help the suffering Haitian people. Unlike Robertson, he's not talking about signed pacts with the Devil. They're just not "serious blunders" of the same caliber, you know? Robertson's would be a 45-70, while Glover's would be more like a .22 short.
