Thanked: 431What a retard! What in the world was he trying to say? I suspect that he doesn't even know. Just some rambling flibble flabble and flopdoodle.
Is he trying to say that this happened because the scam in Copenhagen didn't go over like they wanted to?
When this hit the news I could just see Emmanuel and Axelrod and the rest of the sleazes with their eyes as big as saucers and their little brains going into overdrive trying to storm up an idea of how they could take advantage of the situation.
One of their mottos is - "Never let a good crisis go to waste."
Disgusting.

Thanked: 431Maybe so Ivan, and that can be a good thing. But it does charity efforts no favors to get up there and say that the earthguake is a result of Copenhagen. It's just retarded.

I listened to the clip and it was pretty incoherent. I'm assuming that bit at the end about the climate change summit is the reason you posted this?
It seems like you're grasping at straws, though. I mean, both Glover and Robertson are well-known people - but the difference is, one acts likes a spokesperson for God and has an audience that is crazy enough to believe that he is, while the other is just some actor nobody's heard of since the Lethal Weapon movies.
Don't worry, you'll find something that carries the same weight - you'll probably just have to bide your time.

Thanked: 259that figures. you missed the point completely or just ignored it. the point being that both the right and left have people that make serious blunders.
i could reference many comments both right and left that are both stupid and outlandish. this thread was in response to the one about pat and his big mistake.
calling all of pat robertsons followers crazy shows how intolerant you are of someones views that you do not adhere to. calling someone crazy for their beliefs in Christ and his teachings taught by someone(anyone) is ludicrous.
danny glover has been all over the news for the last few years. all you have to do is look and listen for him and he pops up quite often.

Possibly. I try to be fair and balanced
so I would like to know the context of that quote.
Sen Patsie implied that the earthquake was a direct action from God.
Danny could have meant that it was a direct consequence of global warming, OR he could have meant that if global warming is not handled timely, we will see carnage one the same scale as this earthquake.
Based on the context, it could go either way, which is still tasteless.
If he thinks it is a direct result, he is a nutter. If he doesn't, then he is just using the earthquake to get attention for his cause.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.
