Just be glad there is no global warming.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I thought it was interesting that a member posted from
South Australia and mentioned it was cold on the same day
    that this thread was posted.

I hope this turns into a hot thread.

    My most memorable hot days.
-- Mojave Desert 126 in the shade
Bicycle Lake arty range, Ft. Irwin
-- Driving through Yuma AZ. +115
it was so hot pet Lizards on my lap in an open Jeep died of the heat.
-- Hiking South of Kelvin, AZ +110
it was so hot bees fell out of the mesquite trees
despite an abundance of yellow flowers.

It was 104 today and humid, heat index was 114 or so. Funny thing is, at one time I would have hated it. There was a time when I prefered cold weather, hated slogging through summer. Could never understand how people could move to Florida etc. Now I am pushing 40, so not old really, but man my view has changed. Now I dread winter and even today's heat didn't really bother me. Of course you don't really want to be working out in this heat, but sitting in the shade with a cool drink and I am in heaven. I'll take it over a winter day!

It's crazy hot here in Toronto.

It was 37 yesterday but with humidity it felt like 45 or more.

    In F that's almost 120

    Yes....

Basil....yesterday sucked! Oh man, it was hard to breathe. Today I hid out in the yorkdale mall for a while, just to be in a huge air conditioned place.

Back to the lake and cottage tomorrow.

Lucky you maxi. I've been working outside the past few days.

Been building some porches with my uncle. You can bet I was working extra hard to get that roof up as fast as I could! At least then I'd have some shade.

    Aye,
The NW has been way colder then normal Coldest Spring in IIRC 100 years..
Coming home from Colorado I was running the AC from Denver to Missoula MT then I had to switch to the heater from there on
We have barely even tapped into the 80's so far, and if we do it is for 1-2 days then we drop again, they just re-adjusted the Forecast for today from 85 down to 77 ...
And trust me I ain't complaining

It's hotter than that here right now, and it's only 9:30 in the morning. At least the humidity is low. Yesterday one station read 112F at 3:30pm

Last night when I got in my car at 10 pm (just leaving work), the temperature showed 100º F. This sucks...
