I'm not a conspiracy minded person, so I tend to opt for the simplest explanation. I think LHO was the long gunman. I do think it's possible that he was put up to it, but we'll never be able to prove that. Having been to Deely plaza, the toughest spot to have tried to shoot the President would have been the grassy knoll. The book depository would have been the best place to have taken a shot. This website answered a ton of questions for me.

It was most likely perpetrated by the same people that faked the moon landing a few years later.

From some of the programs that have be on the TV lately I think he was the one and only shooter. After all he was a Marine and Marines are very well trained as Marksman. They were investigating some of the Marines in Iraq because all of the dead were shot in the head they thought that the Marines were executing them but come to find out that was the only part of there body that was exposed so the Marines were making head shots So I would think that him being the lone gunman is not out of the question. What I would question is the weapon he used I have never seen anything about any testing on the accuracy of it and Why he did it is really the only thing I wonder about and why did Jack Ruby Kill him? I don't ever think we will know. Myself having been a Marine I know how we were trained with our weapons Every Marine is a trained rifleman no matter what our MOS was. this is just my take on it.

Jimmy, ever been to Dealey Plaza? After I went my perspective changed. I've read almost everything one can get their hands on. I did not have a good grasp on the incident until I stood in the places where it happened.

And from everything I've seen, there -was- a coverup. Quite a lot of evidence was fabricated.
It could even be that they did genuinely suspect Oswald and fabricated the case against him.

I will say this though: imo that case stinks like a cesspit, and we will never know, barring deathbed confession. Too many secrets and too many stakeholders.

Cover up I can agree on, conspiracy, I don't think so for one reason: You cannot change human nature, it is a certain as the sun setting. Someone would have given it up already. Tell two people a secret, and you don't have a secret.

I suck at shooting and could have made the shots with a hand gun. Also, there was no magic bullet. It is called a screw up in the crime scene search. Forensic Science has come a long way since 1963. I'd bet that bullet was picked up by a cop as a souvenir and then when he heard the President was dead, dropped it on the gurney.

Modern computor accoustic science has proven there were as many as 9 shots.
Have you ever fired a carcano? it is the biggest POS ever made,qualified Gunsmiths examined the scope on the rifle and stated it was mounted wrong and no where near even close to being bore sighted by eye.
There are missing bullits,the FBI removed the concrete curb section the next day where a bullit struck,also a street sign with a bullit hole went missing,those are the two shots from the book depositry my friends.
He was taken out by a french assasin from behind the grassy knoll,most likly with the head shot comming from a 7mm rem mag,as always JMO.

If it wasnt one group it would have been another, it had to be done before he became an embarrassment to your nation.

He was going to pull all our so called advisors out of Vietnam,the debacle never would have happend.
He and his brother were breaking the mafias back.he was going to get rid of J Edgar,he was going after the oil barons by getting ready to get rid of the oil depleation allowances.

Never have Jeff. IIRC you have been in law enforcement a long time. It may seem like it was but 1963 wasn't the 'dark ages.' There were protocols in place that had existed for years yet LHO was questioned, interrogated by both Dallas police and FBI for 12 hours and there was no transcript, no stenographer or recording. Read about the botched autopsy, the crime scene .... i.e. the limo being cleaned and sent to Ford Immediately where a new windshield was installed. The Presidents brain disappeared ! One of the most important pieces of forensic evidence. We are not talking about a routine homicide investigation. It was the murder of the president of the United States of America. I used to believe it was rouge elements of the CIA combined with the members of the mafia.

The CIA people who had it in for JFK after the Bay Of Pigs when he left them hanging in the wind. Some of those people lost on that beach had become very close with their trainers/handlers. Could we have believed that the CIA ..... The official gov of the USA would collude with organized crime to murder a head of state from a foreign power ? We now know it is documented fact. So that close association between CIA and mafia seemed to make sense. Still does really. Now I do think it was a coup de tat.

As for LHO. Hoover said he was a lone nut looking for celebrity yet he denied shooting anyone. When he was in the marine corps he was a radar tech at Atsugi air base in Japan. The same base that Francis Gary Powers and other pilots flew the U2 spy planes out of. When he left the corps and defected to USSR he had no problem getting in and no problem getting back into the USA when he was ready. AFAIC he was a USA intelligence operative. Just the radar position at Atsugi would have required a heck of a security clearance and at that time the CIA was in that base. Anyway .... to me there is just no doubt about it.

After the operation was complete everyone involved was taken out one by one so there is no one to spill the beans.

If you're a mind to accept the conspiracy theory no amount of evidence in the world will ever change your mind because conspiracy begets more conspiracy.

There will never be any definitive end to this.
