This is a pretty darn good point. Not only did Google take overhead and street level images of much (most of?) the US, but they also put it all online.

No need for a warrant at all, they are taking picture of open space.

This can bypass that whole situation.

"I don't like what this guy is saying about the Mayor." "Let's check the overheads." "Look, he has 4 chickens in his back yard. That's two more than are allowed. Let's put him in jail.".

    More tyranny.
Don't need a warrant so you certainly don't need probable cause.

Except, then, Fox liked the tyranny.
That one was a blatant violation of the wiretap laws. Shame on them for allowing that.

American's also have the right to go to jail if caught.
We don't have the right to break the law. I certainly never cheered anyone who did. No such thing as a victimless crime.

Not to mention the online behaviour data collections, the "oops, didn't know we were not allowed to sniff out everyone's wifi settings" and so on.

And you believe it? The only side the government is on is it's own. The only goal the government has is to get bigger and control more. The only goal a politician has is to stay in office as long as possible.

All google can do is try to make money off of you. The government can remove your freedom to choose.

Yeah, I generally believe it. Perhaps things are different on this side of the pond, but I still believe we (the people) run the government and not the other way around - I think if you stop believing that you start thinking you cannot make positive changes in the world, and once you start thinking you cannot change things, you give up trying. And once you give up trying, then they really do control you and not the other way around.

When they harm one of us, they harm all of us. America may have been that way at one time but not any more. Look at Wisconsin , 'they' set one group against another just to divide you. And when you fall for it they just do it to the other side because there no one there now to save you!! They let the factories take away your pensions and health insurance. Now once you lost it it's the teachers and the nurses and the firemen. We can't be devices and still be One.

Boy, you guys are really paranoid... If you aren't breaking the law, do you really think the government is deploying a drone to look in your backyard? Do you know what kind of recources that would take? I welcome a drone flying around stopping bad people around me... Government bashing wont answer the problem of the reason drones are flying over football games. I suggest rather than putting down your government, you come up with a better plan... It is your country, how about showing a little support every now and again?

    Damn.
I am so sick of politics - on both sides.

I think I need to make my own country.
