Black Helicopters?
I'm sure you have all heard of "black helicopters" supposedly operated in secret by the government.
What do you think about the military operating drones over your house and spying on your property? The EPA is doing this now and won't explain what they are looking for.
Where is the outrage? | Fox News
The City of Arlington Texas acquired a drone for security during the Superbowl and wants to continue to use it at their discretion.
I don't understand how this is happening without some kind of public outcry. They are predicting tens of thousands being used by all kinds of local governments in the near future.
Does anyone see this as a problem?

Thanked: 9They still have and use satellites. I think there will always be something or another. The days of privacy are long gone. I don't see the diff in using a plane to catch speeders and using a drone for security measures, one could aruge that the plane is spying on you on the interstate (i understand thats not your property). With safety comes sacrafice.

Thanked: 1371It's good to see Fox news is finally outraged about a government program that will potentially, without a warrant, violate the privacy of American citizens.
Though, maybe if they call them anti-terrorist drones, everyone at Fox other than Andrew Napolitano will be in support of it, just like the wiretapping program in '06.

You are supposed to be ignored unless there is probable cause. The authorities have to have enough to get a Judge to sign a search warrant.
This can bypass that whole situation.
"I don't like what this guy is saying about the Mayor." "Let's check the overheads." "Look, he has 4 chickens in his back yard. That's two more than are allowed. Let's put him in jail.".
More tyranny.

Thanked: 1587At least the Govt professes to be on our side and, on average, I would say they are. I'm more concerned about Google.

No I don't; I'm worried about my family's health, loosing 40 lbs and whether the Panthers make it to the Stanley Cup before I die.
If the drones don't wake me up during my afternoon short nap or crap all over my 4-Runner (like the neighborhood ducks do), I could care less.
