I feel you brother I do. I am not 100% sure that the plan is to make it an entitlement program... I will say that Medicare and Medicaid are a sad example of... well, its a poor model lol! A really poor model.

This thread is supposed to be about the DOJ and BATF's illegal gun-walking operation and very creditable link to the White House.

About my previous post, just look towards the CBO's own numbers on ObamaCare. It will cost over a trillion dollars to operate. I guess we will just have to borrow more money to pay for it and mortgage debt for the next few generations to come.

Any program that promises a service for "free" to the masses sure sounds like a government entitlement to me.

Several years ago, Bush used executive privileges to deny request for documentations involving meetings between Cheney and energy oligopolists.

2) I think it's illegal, as it broke gun control laws.
It is ill-conceived, since majority of the walked guns have not been recovered and not a single gun trafficking network has been subdued.

3) We can not know the answer until those documents are revealed.

4) I believe Holder is the US attorney general and not a chief justice. As far as contempt charges, I think we'd need to see the documentations.
He has produced some 7,000 pages of documents already while withholding 1,300 pages of remaining material.

If those 1,300 pages hold privileged information involving national security, he may be acting on good moral grounds.
If those contain information that could incriminate himself or the administration, then contempt charges should stand.





On a different note, I would think that we as Americans should practice prudence and caution, in going forward.
I hope we don't repeat the kind of knee-jerk reaction taken in the previous administration for engaging in a unilateral war with foreign sovereign nation (without evidence).
I wasn't aware of this issue somehow, and am thinking of writing a letter to my congresswomen.

I think when we decided to start assigning blame that kind of derailed. Look back - you'll see that that's how this all became a marrow sucking experience lol!

Lawyers and politicians will get to the bottom of who's at fault here. As citizens - we need to discuss what we want from our government. Like I said before - I want to get closer to basics and ultimately not give as much power to institutions to do those things that are so covert as to hide the best intentions of the people.
