And no, I don't blame the immigrants, the terrorizer or the "mysterious" economy that the most powerful nation in the world can't control.
Can you have both? I firmly believe we should be moving towards a world with no weapons, a peaceful place not in the opposite direction. I think that if politicians are afraid of making the most radical changes to a system ,in case it upsets those that could revolt, things are never going to make big changes. When parties here talk about our nuclear disarmament programs, people get annoyed (not me) but they can't revolt, they have to engage in debate and have to vote for change which is far more civilized.

Oh come on, even I gagged at that post. There is plenty of evidence that politicians and police in the UK can be as crooked as most other places Political Corruption . I recall reading a post where you said, paraphrasing form memory here, that your prison population comprises mostly repeat offenders. How does that mean the touted rehab program is working never mind preventing crime? I am eating a very large grain of salt here trying to digest that.

Glenn, I am very liberal, I want world peace and all that bull that i probably won't ever get the chance to see.

I'm not a troll I just like debate, hence why I get irritated when insults are thrown, their just not very nice.

You interpreted the data differently that I. Not correctly, differently. Most of our crime increases are the result of different policing/recording methods.

Is there something wrong with being liberal? I know there hasn't been a Utopian society, but wouldn't it be nice to be the first?

FYI I bet you guys would think our Right wing politicians were lefties lol

that's true, they mostly are reoffenders, but our prison population is growing at a rate that means crime is falling. Which means a lot are rehabilitated.

Most of those "corrupt" politicians were guilty of misinterpreting the rules. Tax avoidance isn't illegal here in the UK YET, and the expenses claim thing was just silly.

Liberal Democrats - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is the party I Vote for. I haven't read Utopia, I shall find it out. Alongside the federalist papers I think those will be interesting reading.
