HEY! I just realized the title of this thread. "What is your opinion on Automatic weapons?" I am assuming full auto?
I would not have one. I have shot them at the range. Hard to handle without training and the ammo goes "zip" ! I feel I could hit more with a semi-auto.
Then again, if you are a soldier, or a gangster and have tons of money and tons of ammo, Spaying lead around is the way to go, I suppose. I know in the U.S. full auto is hard to get. Lots of requirements. Unless you are a criminal, I suppose.

That link explains how Firearms reduce crime, and have reduced crime, in almost every circumstance including England and Wales..

It shows the facts of restrictive Firearms laws having a marked increase in violent crime

So if we are to take you at your word

I suggest you read the link you posted, (http://www.justfacts.com/guncontrol.asp) and accept the blatently obvious

You see a rising absolute crime number and think it is a higher crime RATE? You NEED to take into account a growing population. A few posts ago I showed the crime rates, they are easy to calculate. They are falling year on year for the UK. We have had a 10x reduction in violent crime rate since the gun restrictions were brought in here. That website gives numbers, they don't analyze them for you.

That website also shows how much the "gun rights" groups pay the government.

From your link just the conclusion on YOUR country the stats are even more blatant for MY country

Not counting the above-listed anomalies, the British homicide rate has averaged 52% higher since the outset of the 1968 gun control law and 15% higher since the outset of the 1997 handgun ban.

Face the facts, I mean after all you even posted the link, and the blatent facts in your link says, "Restrictive gun laws raise the crime rate"... You can try and twist out from under those facts all you want but there they are...

I have tried to explain to all of the Antis here, the facts and numbers do not support your stance, you cannot win the arguement with logic and facts..
Sorry that is just the way it is, I don't make the numbers, you guys are better off with the "Touchy Feely" stances

Luckily for everyone, the attackers in those incidents broke off and escaped once they caught a clue that I was ready to kill them.

Check out these facts on knife killings in China: School attacks in China (2010

Probably one of the few countries where it is close to impossible for a civilian to obtain a firearm. Still, 21 dead in these attacks, most of them small children, and 90 injured.

In your own country 2007 and 2008, school shootings in Jokela and Kauhajoki left 19 dead and many others injured. Both committed by psychos using only .22 cal pistols!

With the psychos who set out to do this kind of thing, I think the weapon is always secondary to their intent to kill. They will find a way, and will always do the most damage that they can.
Someone once told me that your shouldn't sharpen a fighting knife as sharp as you can. If it's slightly dull it will hurt more.

So I guess cutting instead of stabbing is what they were talking about.

Showing how violent crime has decreased since the gun bans. From this website, English Crime Trends – Deltoid

The reason the stats seem to show a higher homicide rate from that website is because a lot of those are historical crimes that technology has enabled prosecution.

However, as mentioned many times, we won't agree on this. I live somewhere that gun crime is almost completely a thing of the past, and you don't. We have differing views, and stats lol.

Something else that is most interesting that means all of our stats mean diddly squat, is that crome reporting, and measuring has changed. Meaning we can't compare historical data, isn't that a bummer

I may be wrong, but from what I was taught, the purpose of cutting isn't physical pain, but knowing where to cut to render muscles and tendons unusable.

Yes that's what I did. I didn't post a graph showing my side, I'll let you ignore that. You can remain blind to the fact that your opinion is exactly that!

You might want to read that site with the graph you posted a bit closer too I would just go with the "The facts are wrong and I am right" stance if I were you...
