I read about using off duty police, That's a good idea. Most off duty cops here, are used to watch road construction workers. Put them in the schools.

Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, one million educated people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
Defenseless people rounded up and exterminated in the 20th Century because of gun control: 56 million.
You won't see this data on the US evening news, or hear politicians disseminating this information.
Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws adversely affect only the law-abiding citizens.

Take note my fellow Americans, before it's too late!
The next time someone talks in favor of gun control, please remind them of this history lesson.
With guns, we are 'citizens'. Without them, we are 'subjects'.
During WWII the Japanese decided not to invade America because they knew most Americans were ARMED!

IT'S A NO BRAINER! Switzerland doesn't issue handguns and state to carry.

Dude if the US government wanted to round you up they would... just like they did to American Germans and Japanese in WW2. HA!!!

I an not advocating to not allow the RIGHT to own in America but the above is silly IMO.

Don't forget the WWI Vets that marched on DC for their Bonus that was promised. Look up the Bonus Army if you're not familiar with the story.
Hoover, MacArthur, Eisenhower, and Patton. Some of the biggest names of that time period did such a disgraceful thing to the vets that were destitute after the stock crash.

Hmmmmm, I would have to disagree there, Way to many instances of Guerrilla warfare, stopping a much larger and better armed force, you don't even have to go back very far in history to prove that ...

Secondly, I have serious doubts that very many American soldiers will ever fight on American soil, even if ordered to.

The interesting point about that story - one I have been stating over and over, is that the army went at them with tanks. Whole lot of good a six gun and a M16 is going to for you in that case.

Yeah but the problem with that Glen, is in those story's people were trying to be gentle to the public. It's kind of dumb in my opinion but that's a whole different debate. Name any time in history when a government went after their own people and didn't off the public. You see what I am saying?

A gorilla force might be able to hold off Russia and America - but only because we don't fight wars of attrition anymore. Or because America or Russia was backing the gorilla's. If we went back to "kill them all and let god sort it out," no war fought by America would ever be lost.

If America ever imploded - many citizens would be killed - very possibly because they were shooting at the army. Who knows.

I wonder if they all marched to the White House armed if they wouldn't have been viewed as an invading force and gunned down. Seriously. Pretty easy to spin that... man what a sad story.
