It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Thanked: 884Been on the phone off and on all day looking for a decent qty of 7.62X51 BALL. It's out there, but prices have DOUBLED in the last week! Stopped by one of the smaller gun shops here in town, ( one that doesn't have a pissy attitude ) and they sold all their AR/AK stuff yesterday. Couldn't let 4 of them out the door because the FBI's lines were tied up and hold times were over an hour!
He mentioned stripped lowers at $550 in Greenville. Bolt carriers for $1K!!
THe perfect storm is brewing pertaining to gun sales with all the BS about THE END OF THE WORLD and the BS spewing from the lefttard media and DC about gun control.
I told one snotty SOB at ELK CASTLE ARMS that they better enjoy what's happening now, because when this blows over, they'll be begging all the folks they've pissed off to come back to give 'em another chance. Cheaper than Dirt is now anything but. They were selling Pmags for 59.67 yesterday when we were selling ours for 25$. Profiteering at it's finest. Their website was down for sometime and when it came back up so did their prices.

Thanked: 884Makin hay is one thing. I prefer to at least get kissed if I'm gonna get taken advantage of.
Gun show in Cowtown this weekend. I've got two days to decide if I want to fight the crowds and get even more pissed off. LOL I'm hoping one of my buddies has a table so I can get in on Fri night and help him set up and beat some of the crowd.
Cangooner, I can understand your not understanding the attachment of a LOT of Americans to their gun rights. The fact that we are still guaranteed them by a piece of paper that this country was founded upon has everything to do with it.
And I will go further to say that anyone who is not an American citizen has no dog in this fight.Member Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club, participant SE Asia War Games 1972-1973. The oath I swore has no statute of limitation.

Just browsing gunbroker and my DSL is like a dial up. Went to Bud's Gun Shop and got this ;
Sorry....all Customer Service options are completely overwhelmed. You will likely not get through on the phone or get a response to an email
The website continues to take orders normally, and we continue to process and ship normally, although you should expect substantial delays, possibly 2 weeks
If you want a firearm ?...place your order on the website and wait...if there are ANY problems with your order ?....WE WILL CONTACT YOU !!

Cangooner, if you want one example of why 'mental health' treatment in the USA is not effective in dealing with this sort of thing before the fact read the story of Charles Whitman here . If you want to be spared the gory details go to the "Investigation related to visits to medical personnel" at the bottom of the page.
Don't get me wrong, I know that was a long time ago, and I know that mental health professionals are dedicated people who, by and large, really care. I also know from personal experience of a family member that if the meds don't work, and/or if the insurance isn't adequate, the patient is out of luck. Anyway .....
