Yeah, people are stupid. I run an education centre, I won't tell you where in case someone from work is on this forum (though it's unlikely) but it's a very, very, very secure environment. We have a library. I was asked by management a little while ago if we had the Koran in the library. I said "yes". They said "well, remove it" I asked why. Of course the simple one word answer was 'terrorism'. I think it's called profiling. I do recall the teasing and bullying I went through at school because my father is German. It's true he fought in the Second World War but I sort of failed to see how that made me a Nazi...

Yea, there are more than enough neanderthals to go around on both sides of any equation to make life extremely unpleasant for the majority.
