because of the events i just listed...all happened around this time in april. i think, and hope, that whatever authorities are "listening" would have picked up any so so-called chatter from foreign terrorists. this was a very symbolic attack, cradle of liberty and so on, and certainly not meant to cause a huge loss of life. duuuuh....some of the best hospitals in the world are within walking distance of the finish line and the place is crawling with health professionals to take care of the runners. it was meant to terrorize, to make people feel that even their most cherished institutions and rituals and gathering places are not safe. we'll see, as i'm positive they're gonna catch whoever did this. but it just occurred to me, mohammed atta got on the plane in boston.

Thanked: 13249Not really a "Feeling" just the date
Patriots day is actually April 19th but in Mass. it is celebrated on the 3rd Monday of April as a State Holiday and the running of the Marathon, that just makes the likelyhood of Domestic rather then International..
Sorta like when a wife is killed the first suspect is the husband, isn't always true, but the odds favor it so the LEO's look that way first..
It would also be a very good "False Flag" event which was predicted by several very Far Right Wing nuttersLast edited by gssixgun; 04-16-2013 at 09:37 PM.

I am really thinking that this was a domestic act.
From their stillness came their non-action...Doing-nothing was accompanied by the feeling of satisfaction, anxieties and troubles find no place

Plus, don't the usual al Qaeda/Islamic terror groups want and claim credit immediately in these events?
There are many roads to sharp.

If you are a terrorist group no matter foreign or domestic there is no logic in going to the trouble of doing this and causing all the media frenzy and not having your organization getting the credit and putting the fear of your organization in the public's mind not to mention advancing your cause.
To do this anonymously is either some lone wolf nut or this is part of a bigger operation with more to come and they're keeping us in suspense. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

It all depends on the motivations. A 'pro' org usually claims responsibility not too long after the fact.
If that does not happen, I'd find it more likely that it is either a smaller group or a loner.
There could actually be a very good reason not to claim anything. You make it harder for someone to come looking for you because they have to look at everyone. And perhaps, the date is more important and the responsible party wants to leave the carnage on that specific date stand as a statement on its own?Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.
