Boston marathon
Apparently there were a couple of explosions near the finish line of the boston marathon.
Were any SRPers participating in the marathon?Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

I don't know about SRP members running, but I do know that the one person I know who ran it was safely back at his hotel and sleeping by the time of the explosions. Here's hoping everyone else has similarly good news.
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

News reports are stating 2 dead and 24 injured, some very seriously, at present. Let's hope that they get whoever did this very quickly.
Edit; up to 86 injured now, as of 6:15 PMLast edited by JimmyHAD; 04-15-2013 at 10:15 PM.

Thanked: 270Really sad that just about every popular event carries with it the threat of something like this. Hope they find the perpetrators.

Thanked: 10I want to run Boston also. Kinda makes you second guess ever doing a big race, but if you do the assholes who did this win.

Live news has taken over TV here in the Boston area.
My wife knows a few people who ran it, but didn't finish because the race was stopped early. All runners are OK.You can take the boy out of NY, but you can't take NY out of the boy.
