I'd love to dabble in new builds, but don't have the experience, equipment or talent

I think starting with scales and cleaning blades is a good start... I'm still yet to learn the art of honing! Haven't attempted even the pinning of razors yet.

After meeting you at the last get together, I don't doubt that you will, and that you will be good at any and all aspects that you take an interest in.

Thanks for your kind words Mick... but unfortunately I am not a visual person... I see myself perhaps doing some nice restorations some time down the track, but nothing new or visionary.

Will be great to see you again at the next meetup

Just ordered a Chosera 1k and DMT 325, so another couple of items to play with at the next meetup (read... I've now got some more stuff I'm going to bother you all with and have you teach me how to use lol)

p.s. Mick... If you still have any of that acrylic that you kindly offered to share with all at the last meetup, I'd love some for a set of scales for an old GW wedge if you still have some.

I'm up for another razor shindig. Saturday of the 5th and 12th are out for me, however don't let that govern the day by any means.

I hear talk of New Builds, and lack of equipment. I would be happy to open up my little sweat shop to host a little get together as some stage. I couldn't host more than a couple in the shed though, it is kind of small. But folks could have a go at a bit of razor making, assembling etc.

I have ordered my heat treat oven from Paragon but it hasn't arrived yet, so heat treat is not on the cards just yet.

Ok, lets rule out the 5th and 12th, does anyone have any other days we need to rule out? Im sure there will be a sat or sun that everyone has free... we'll find it via the process of elimination.
