Thread: USPS to Australia - 5-7 Days or 5-7 Weeks?

I know your feelings, I can get items from the US, Bulgaria & the UK in anywhere from 1 to 5 weeks, just receive 2 razors from Chicago from different sellers, 1 took 10 days the other took 20 odd both came as international letters?

Then it also takes 5 days to get from Bathurst NSW & Perth WA to Central Qld going snail mail & 3 working days for overnight guaranteed WTF!

I had one east coast to perth took 2 weeks. Thought it must have been lost. The ONLY razor I've had lost in the mail happened in oz and I've brought them from US, England and through Europe. Should also mention it costs more to post in oz then from these countries to here

You are not alone. It works both ways. A friend there sent me a package and my beard grew mightily by the time it got here. I'm waiting on an order from, I think, the only shaving supplier that takes PayPal, to arrive. I've been told it's not our respective postal services but the carriers in between that they contract with to move the goods. Remember you are way out there from a lot of the world and even planes take a bunch of time to get to and from Australia.

Well it was only about two weeks wasn't it good job I am not a humanitarian organisation though

Hey brighty, it might be worth checking they have been dispatched, I bought two items from two different Japanese suppliers and they took a while to actually dispatch them, I think they said it could be up to 10 working days for dispatch, so even paying massive postage for fancy registered express etc it still took a while, but not 6 weeks.

Yeah USPS is terrible, takes very long no matter how big the parcel is.
Your lucky if it arrives in 2 to 3 weeks - if at all..
We are not the only one feeling the pain - My wife has a friend in the US and it took her 3 months to send a parcel interstate... how bad is that.... quicker delivering it by hand.
