Thanked: 68Our colloquial language can be a bit confusing for the masses - let alone our sense of humour. All hail the wise and all knowing Oz, we're definitely not in Kansas.... :tongue firmly in cheek:
Not sure about stcok levels for Mancave - just found them when I was looking for some Proraso.
I guess the wet shaving community in NZ is fairly small so they don't carry large stock numbers.
The Aussies may know of some good web-shops on their side of the ditch.
There is also Gentlemans Blade on Trademe. Haven't had any dealings with them but they may be able to help out too with Straight razor stuff.
A reasonable selection of soaps, creams etc here
And if you're feeling extremely generous with your hard earned $$ - this guy seems to have a very hopeful opinion of cut throat prices in NZ.
Happy Shaving.
Safe and enjoyable Christmas.Don't do anything you wouldn't want to explain to the paramedics!

Shaving supplies in Auckland
Hi Grayman11, as you've no doubt realized there's not much in the way of shaving supplies or services in NZ. Your best bet is to save up a few hundy and get a big box of stuff from an American vendor - shipping will be dear but the items will be way way less than you would pay for them locally (I'm looking at you $40.00 bottle of Thayer's). Good luck!

Yea thats probably what I'll end up doing but always nice to know the local ones if I ever want something quick. Like one of the guys on trade me that Fuzzy found has DE blades for a good price and even has some of the Russian made ones that are pretty sought after.
I have a DE, strop set and Straight razor coming from whippeddog which I can't wait for.

Thanked: 580Crikey, a half a kiwi? After all the ockers joining lately, a half is better than none i guess. Maybe the next best bet is send it to a member in Aussie, there are a couple in member services that offer honing.
