I'll get some picks up tonight of the flashlight I bought last week to attach to my Mossberg Cotton Candy Dispenser. I was a bit shocked by the clarity & brightness of the light,,, great price & bought at Home Depot.

I have a couple of coast flashlights that have treated me well. One is on my desk right now that I carried for a couple of years and lost it during a fall camping trip. I returned in the spring when the grass was low and found it in the area where I thought it was. I pushed the switch and was back in business like nothing ever happened!

Finally bit the bullet and got an LED light. Yeah, I know, what took me so long. Well, I suppose I was waiting for one from the future...









One incredibly bright LED light in a tiny, functional package. Several light modes with turbo hitting 1,000 lumens. This post reminds me of a scene in the X files series where Fox is talking about flashlights (which played a big part in the show) with the Assistant Director and they were admiring each others flashlights and discussing who had the bigger flashlight.

I will stick to my throw away lights. 3 to 8 bucks and they last for 5 years. But that is a fancy and spendy flashlight Mark.

For me, the light is certainly fancy but fairly inexpensive — I simply skip some fast food or dine-in lunches, and it’s “paid for” in my book. Between that and the fact I’ve wanted one of these gadgets since forever is all the rationale I require.

Tell you what though, I will be singing another tune should I lose this tiny sucker.

My new to me 1920s Eveready. Cleaned up corrosion, put in new insulation, now it is working fine. I put in rechargeable batteries, and a warm white led bulb.

Yes, I know this thread is older than the hills.

You should be excited Charlie.
The older stuff is made way better and is much cooler than what's out there today.
