Thanked: 13245To be honest I did not actually "Buy" it,, well I did but I didn't hehehe
I bought a boat last year, the flashlight was hidden in one of the Cuddy Cabin niches, so I bought the boat the flashlight came with it or I bought the flashlight and the boat was free
I was messing with it the other night when I got home from the Rosanne Cash concert, and it is amazing how much light that tiny little thing puts out...

Lots of different kinds of crazy be it flashlights or razors.
I have always loved flashlights and today's sure beat the ones i grew up with.
My favorite flashlight story was when I gave everyone in my family a rechargeable flashlight for Christmas. Big bulky newfangled things. Christmas eve my brother came in from the barn saying one cow went nuts and the rest of them followed her through the fence. I took the opportunity to tell everyone to open their presents a little early! I could type two more pages with the rest of the story.
Here are my latest.
Stinger® Series - Stinger® Classic LED | Streamlight
My only complaint is I can't leave it plugged into my truck charger 24/7 because I keep getting low battery alerts on the truck. A friend that works for the county on squad cars has to keep telling the deputies the same thing.
My wife wanted one until she heard the price so I tried a compromise and got her one of these.
Nitecore MH25 Rechargeable Flashlight - REVIEW |
I thought the USB charger was neat but haven't had it long enough to see if it holds up.

For me the best light is the one that is in your pocket when you need one. I carry this little , cheap, bright diver's light on me.
I just put a cheap , but adequate Boker light on the botton of my Ak, via a tri-rail
& I will be getting this one next month for my 870.
Streamlight® ProTac™ HL C4® LED Tactical Flashlight | Bass Pro Shops
As far as 123 batteries, I use a lot of them, I get the red colored , Surefire's from Lowes, they are $5.00 for 2 & last a while.

This is my pocket light, it uses 2 AAA batteries & since I only use it rarely, I just changed the batteries after 1 year.
The 123 batteries are on tactical weapons & rarely used also, checked regularly. I'm not a fan of rechargeable lights unless the light sits in a charger constantly, keeping it charged to the top. I have a small streamlight (rechargeable) in my
4Runner, that stays plugged in.
