Thanked: 1371I used to have a couple of bowlers that I wore with suits. The kids found the white one and it got stained behond the ability to be dry cleaned, and the black one (which was a wedding gift from my parents) got crushed when I moved.
These days I pretty much just wear baseball caps. The best ones have the thickest coating of grease and the stitching is falling out.
Since this thread isn't about baseball caps, I won't post any pics.

Thanked: 983I tried a bowler once. It definitely did not do me any flattery at all!

Thanked: 58I wear two different fedoras during the winter months; one black, and one grey, but only with suits. During the summer I have a panama c-crown fedora that I wear, although, I haven't much this summer. The only interesting thing about this post is that I have an unusually large head.....a 2XL, or a 7 7/8ths, to be exact, and have to special order anything I buy b/c they never carry my size in stores. FYI, I've found a site that gives incredible customer service, a wide array of selection, speedy delivery, and sensible prices. It's villagehatshop.com.

Well, I found the replacement for the Stetson Lawai.
A Stetson Mountain View Crushable
Is on its way. It is going to be my next warm weather / travel hat.

My buddy just got back from Kyrgyzstan. I had him bring me back a hat. I wore it uptown and got mixed reviews, and a lot of strange looks. Good hat for drinking tea and pipe smoking.

I have several fedoras, flat-caps, duckbills and even a cowboy hat or two among others (of course including the non-hat ball caps + beanies).
Strange how some folks in my extended circle only think of ball-caps or beanies when hearing the word 'hats'. I guess they've expanded to include those military style caps for women as well now ;-)...
They were trying to denigrate me b/c I wear hats of all kinds - 'why do you need those hats?' I simply chuckled. It's funny when sheep try to make fun of wolves.
I just realized that I only have pics of me wearing a few different hats - need to snap some showing off all my wares.
I'm in interested in picking up a nice pork-pie next.

Thanked: 102This hat looks like one the Locke hat company makes and was worn in the latest Sherlock holmes movie. Cool looking brim.
