Thanked: 983Which fleece stuff is being touted as the new wool? Wool is Wool and there is nothing else that has the same quality as Wool except Wool. I like Wool! I lined my pipe box with Wool. I would line a knife sheath with wool too and ensure it had a nice dose of lanolin in it to ensure the blade was always nicely oiled. Of course the wool would have to be trimmed down from the hide a bit to keep bulk and snags down, but it would be a good knife sheath for a quality carbon steel blade. I bet the new fleece being touted as wool wouldn't be any good for that!

Thanked: 983Received, and once again, rest and get well soon mate. The only reason I'm around and on the computer, is because I'm down with a heavy cold and a strained muscle in my back. That's fun when you cough, I tell ya. I should be out working! I suppose Ed won't miss me as much as he does when I go.
