Which fleece stuff is being touted as the new wool? Wool is Wool and there is nothing else that has the same quality as Wool except Wool. I like Wool! I lined my pipe box with Wool. I would line a knife sheath with wool too and ensure it had a nice dose of lanolin in it to ensure the blade was always nicely oiled. Of course the wool would have to be trimmed down from the hide a bit to keep bulk and snags down, but it would be a good knife sheath for a quality carbon steel blade. I bet the new fleece being touted as wool wouldn't be any good for that!

Received, and once again, rest and get well soon mate. The only reason I'm around and on the computer, is because I'm down with a heavy cold and a strained muscle in my back. That's fun when you cough, I tell ya. I should be out working! I suppose Ed won't miss me as much as he does when I go.

Do you remember Moon Boots? My mom and sisters thought that they were cool until they wore them in the hay barn. The chaff filled up the velcro and it was useless.
