I am hysterical. (As a former MP I never felt right without my partner in eyeshot. I like being around the guy whose next move I already know.)
As to the P938 grips they are OK for light range sessions. The grips come with a little bit of a bite - the grabbers are sharpish, especially if your hands are sweaty. It's one of the few guns I prefer to shoot with a glove(s) on. The trigger is similarly reviled for sharpish edges. A box of ammo, no big deal - more than that and your index finger feels stung. I guess a little steel wool or emery cloth might soften the roughness but this isn't a gun I shoot 500/rounds per week.Last edited by MisterMoo; 08-14-2014 at 07:25 PM.

Guys, keep in mind that we don't want a discussion about gun control or anything even close to it such as a the reasons for carrying or disarming. Stick to the guns, nothing more.

This is why I very rarely even browse threads on here that are about politics.
I come to this place to connect with people over a hobby/borderline obsession that we have in common and I feel that the friendly atmosphere gets ruined when members start dividing up in different political camps and argue, like how the forum was after Sandy hook for example.
Keep up the good work, mods.Last edited by Baxxer; 08-14-2014 at 08:15 PM.

Thanked: 1936Your 938 has more of a gap at the bottom between the trigger and frame. I did notice though, after "trying", that the "point" on the trigger is rather sharp. I'll be "fixing" mine. I've been wanting to take it down to parade rest for some time anyways and it needs a good cleaning too.

I've got the P238 Sig, the smaller brother of the 938, and it is a great pistol, but I'm selling it. In my carry guns I want a DA only striker fired pistol like the Glock and he Kahr. I once went to the range with my P238 and was standing at the line, squeezing the trigger while aligning the sights and nothing was happening. I finally realized I had forgotten to flip the safety off. A really DUH moment. Point being, that since I would be carrying in condition 1, if I got in a 'situation' and forgot the safety in the heat of the moment ........ that would really be embarrassing.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 45Here is my pocket 9mm..........................short.
I had an LC9, but never really liked it. The trigger was looooong and horrible. A friend let me shoot his P238 one day, and I promptly sold the ruger.
My wife had to have one too.
New shoes.
Great sights on the Equinox. Tritium/FO is extremely bright day or night. And while the 7-8# trigger is heavy, it breaks cleanly. Disappears nicely in the front pocket of my shorts. Very happy with the purchase.
