Around these parts I laugh at the big 4 wheel drive guys when they go flying by me on the ice. Sure, they can go faster az they have more traction with more tires driving. But stopping that 4×4 on the ice is the same as my car.

Yea, when I was a kid going fast, especially in the 1/4 mile was more important than needing to stop. Kind of like--"Brakes? Brakes? We don't need no stinking brakes"!

Got the pieces safely separated and down to sizes that will fit in my second hand tabletop blasting cabinet.

Lever arm dampers and kingpins. I replaced plenty of those on assorted MGs and most other BMC vehicles with the same set-up. I still have a couple of the special stepped reamers that we used to ream the king-pin bushes to size.
