Plywood or such for support on the 'roof'? I know you get the snow---
A place for a cheap box fan to get crap in the air out? Maybe some kind of way to filter the crap with inexpensive furnace filters to keep the lovely bride AND the neighbors happy?
I was just wondering
I'd painted a friend's car in a garage with a similar set up (but with plastic sheeting on the ceiling and walls to help contain dust etc) and without an exhaust filter ----the friend's wife wasn't happy with the new color her flowers were sporting when she saw them the next morning--Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.

Correction:
What I was wondering was IF there would be plywood under the sheeting for support so that the weight of snow and ice wouldn't build up and crush the structure.

Thanked: 4206I didn’t intend to, as I have an 18’ roof pitch, and the white poly is 5 mil stuff used fir softener salt bags.
Couple of 4x8 1/4“ ply might not be a bad idea though just to strengthen it up a bit more Roy.

Thanked: 4206The power of good penetrant, and good steel.
Pulled this out of the corner of the tub frame, actually unthreaded after a few days of mouse milk and bit of tighten, loosen type wrench work.
Good steel, through and through back then I suppose."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."

Thanked: 4206Yup, that bolt unscrewed out of the wood main frame where it goes through the steel subframe.
Wood and wet worked against the area under the head I think, but the nut end seemed solid where it went through the frame and the actual nut itself looks great for 70 years old.
I’m just surprised it was able to muster enough torsional strength still to actually undo and not snap when I took it apart.."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."

I would presume that you have replacement bolts?

That is impressive to get it out without breaking. I'd have snapped that sucker right off! Guessing your not using air drive impact tools to take the car apart with?
It's just Sharpening, right?
