Awesome Mike, sounds great....Orangeville summer cruise-a-thon coming up.....that car will be a massive hit on the weekends when everyone from Toronto visits your hood. Every. Single. Weekend.

    After brakes, what's next?

After brakes, I’m thinking test drive time. Once all the electrical checks out I will be ready to get it safetied and road legal.. hopefully the brake lights start working once I start to develop brake pressure.
Can’t wait to feel her on the road..

So the rear wheel cylinders aren’t as expected.

Seems I got my donor brakes identified wrong. Ordered the correct ones based off the actual Girling p.n.’s this time.
Car has 2 cylinders per front tire, which gave better stopping power for the time I suppose.

So I took the fronts all apart to clean and have for spares.

Those rear cylinders look just like the quandary I had on my Tiger.
The late Alpines and the Tigers used the bottom one. They sent me some like the top one from Rock Auto. I called and told them their catalog was wrong. Didn't care.
Looking at Ebay, tons were for sale with the same inaccuracy.
Paid double and got the correct ones from Victoria British.
At least the front caliper kits/pistons from RA were right. Saved a PILE!

Hawk Racing did not list front pads for the Tiger. Some research..Same pads as a TR250 everywhere else.
Hum...6 flavors of pads for those! Got the street/track ones. Great stoppers now.

So wait till you install those rear cylinders, Mike.
Those horseshoe clips go on only one way. You will be an expert until you forget how!

Decided a good use for bad gas is cleaning up parts.
Went at my rear hydraulic dampeners last night.
    Spray on, scrub off.

So you say that is what was used for a shock? Guess I've never ran across that one before. Cool. Looks like you can replace the oil and possible rebuild them if need be. This is something new to me for sure. Like the idea. But guessing they dont work as well as shocks now days.

Snowed in awfully bad. Couldn’t even get to the store to buy bread.

Threw in an extra pinch of salt, and some ice cubes at the start on the oven floor.
Seems to make for a crustier crust..
