those lips sure are twisted and bent. Nice job on that one, Mike. I'd have never thought you could bend it that much.

Thanked: 4206Home for lunch and a present from the Far East arrived early.
Completely prewired sets of seat heaters for the ride post rebuild.
Sure I’ll need to hide the switches or find something more period correct but really looking forward to a warm ass and lower back on those fall drives.

Thanked: 4206Ha, good idea Tim!
Actually there are 4 panels for the two seats so I’ll share.
Beside, my dad was part Wookiee, I’m always wearing a fur coat under whatever I’m wearing, so this is more for the copilot.
Funny cause this will be the single greatest amp draw on the car when they’re on, hehe.
Figure I’ll switch to double throw toggles from the same period and mount them on the new to be built shift console. Keep them off the original dash lines. May also hide the usb and phone connectivity stuff in the shift console.
Haven’t thought that far ahead, design wise.."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."

Thanked: 4826I have after market seat warmers in my pick up, the low profile black rocker switch is tucked in on the outboard side of the seats and fairly invisible sitting on a black panel.

Thanked: 4206Lucas couldn’t but AC delco can!
This was converted over to NA alternator before I got it.
Will hopefully pick Toms brain again regarding wiring it up without a diode.
And I was thinking about along the seat edges too. Evidently there was an actual seat track originally. That hinged forward,, never knew.
May add that again but with a fixed back rest I figured, why?"Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."

Thanked: 4206And quick update on the hulk.
Love it so far.
Not under 40 dB at source, but this is half the sound, at least, over my old unit.
As per the app, with this running it’s still a quiet room environment.
Can run the nibbler, which is an air whore, for a good 45 seconds before the compressor kicks on, and didn’t starve out in 4 minutes of nibbling..
Will advise as to the paint power later in the season.."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."
