Here are a few pens I manage to get together today. I got more turned but the finishing is taking a toll on my hand so I will save the others for another day...

Before they put a cast on my hand the other day I managed to get these done.
I have two more pens ready for finish so I may be able to get those done. But after that...
One-handed turning is not going to happen. Even when it's little stuff like Pens.

Ive mangled both my ankles over the years, broke the foot bone in one, and two bones in my other ankle. Never had I'd been in a cast. Support... Yes. Cast....no.
Feel for ya, bro.Mike

With my hands feeling good and my shoulder ready to go back to work, I thought I'd turn a few projects.
Here is a Modified Slimline Pen in Gold made from Zebrawood and finished with CA...
And this was a project I had been wanting to do for a long time. My skill level wasn't up to it a year ago. Then the surgeries kept me from trying. Anyway, Here is a bowl made from the same wood as the last bowl. From the tree in my front yard. This piece of wood had only been drying for one year so I hope it stays together.
Live Edge Bowl...
It has a few cracks and it's a bit thick but I'm hoping it may warp some during the final drying over the next few years and take on even more character.Last edited by Gasman; 09-11-2022 at 11:49 PM.
