Thanks Barney. I only looked long enough to bookmark the link for Spike later I SWEAR! I need ones with steel boning in though, the plastic ones just don't cut it with my, how shall I put it, fuller figure.
Someone mentioned they were curious abut my piercings too, can't find the post now but i have 17 in all. 7 in my left ear, 5 in my right, 1 in my right nostril (no cattle jokes please!), 1 just below my bottom lip, 1 in my tongue and 1 in each..........................
I have 5 tattoos too if you want to know about those. There is a picture in an album on my profile page that shows the Dragon tattoo on my back and there is one of me and my Boa Hades if anyone wants to see.
Barney, thanks for the welcome. I'm loving being here and learning lots while enjoying some good company.
Gotta say I'm loving the input from the Gents here so far, it's good to see you are joining in.

Thanked: 11My other half has a fuller figure so I know the issues. Trust me the stuff from FGM is steel boned - spiral steel boning in some cases and they even have some for experienced wearers only - ie 6 inch reduction
As for boots - Morag (my wife) has these
I should also pay more attention to the location field - didn't realise you were in Wales. I tend to automatically assume people are from the States
I think it is safe to say that most guys hear will always be happy to discuss the alluring attire of the fairer sex

EEEKK!!!! AD overload. Thanks Lilith, Pearl & Barney. I had just managed to get the lingerie-&-corset-for-Silver AD under control. Had. Far too many pretties. I was going to console myself with that DD on BST. Damnit! It's gone.

Stays
definately a sign of good taste...i have made it my mission to collect kilts being 100% scottish...ok maybe this is too much for other scots out there as Ive only been in the usa 1 year plus...my collection includes
1 Ancient Johnston..medium weight
1 Weathered Johnston...heavy weight
1 Leather
1 Denim
1 3 Piece suit kilt outfit
1 Workman Utilikilt....
However back on point I was intrigued by the use of the word, 'stays' i heard that word as a kid used by my great aunt who had them, we pronounced it differently...more like 'stiiiys' heavy on the i's.Just chiming in.
regards,simon

My first "corset" was actually a pair of stays made as part of my 1770s costume when I was a tour guide at Noah Webster's birthplace. Since then, most of the boned undergarments I've made have been closer to stays than to corsets in that they've been designed more for support and posture than for shaping.
All this talk makes me want to get back into costuming. There's this surcoate that's been sitting on my dress form for two years or so that still needs to be finished... hmm.

Oh Barney! Now that really isn't fair! I WANT THOSE BOOTS!!!!!!! LOL
Welcome to Swiftsteel our newest CAD/LAD victim too.
Jockeys, thank you for the added recommendation, much appreciated.
Lilith I think it's awesome you make these and I'm impressed you've got the motivation back to go finish the surcoate thats been hanging around for a while
Curiosity got the better of us last night so we looked up the Utilikilts, must say I quite liked them and I know Spike was impressed too.
