Do you add your own ring. That is the style that I was thinking about. I see these are fixed dots. They should be centered but have never trusted one to be so. If you rotate the lens 90 or 180 degrees etc you will change your aiming point. You can adjust the sight a click or 2.
I am always careful to set the lens in the same way. I have had sights with notches so they can't be rotated.
With my target panic 1/4 inch at 20 yards is the least of my worries at the moment!

No you don't add your own ring they put it on there. They can do different sizes and of the three or 4 I've messed with they were all the exact center. You can take the lens out and roll it across a smooth countertop and the dot won't wiggle at all. Same with the lens. Also I haven't used one but they've got one that is a huge dot that as I understand it is used to cover the bullseye. Also if you use it hunting (which is primarily what I do now) you can get a glow powder added that you can shine a light on it and it'll glow for the next few hours.

Its not actually etched. Somehow the color of your choosing is in the lens. The guy that showed me one showed me that you can scratch it with your fingernail and the spot is there. Also there weren't any finger marks on the lens when we finished. Check them out! I've got them making me one and I'll put up a picture when I get it in!

I ended up pulling the trigger on the GT ultralight pro 400. The arrows completely built are gonna cost me half of what last years shafts cost me
Let's hope they shoot as well.

I have found that most anything be it arrows bows etc. will shoot better than I can!
I have a hard time spending more on a dozen arrows than I have on the bow that shoots them. The last bow I bought was $200 and the last dozen arrows was $240.

I know that feeling! I've been shooting gold tip arrows for several years now and most are ready to be refletched. I bought 2 dozen some 8 years ago or so and they've been carrying me strong ever since. I know there are newer ones out there but I'm just really fond of these. I bounced one off of 3 trees in a 3d outdoor shoot one time and was able to use it later in the same tournament.

Gold tips are my go to hunting arrows. I won't argue that they are better but they are good and I have been able to buy 6 one year and 6 the next and they will match the old ones!
Long story but my usual partners for leagues couldn't make it tonight. I wish I had waited for a partner but left out on the course on my own early. A very good shooter after I finished was looking for a partner.... I love shooting with good shooters because they make me better.
Anyway I decided to shoot Red knock V/S Green knock.
First butt 64-59-55-52 yards. Red comes out ahead by one. I wonder what I messed up with the low one Green? sorry the picture is sideways, left is bottom.
This is bale 9 in the distance from 53 yards and the hill is steeper than my bad phone picture. 53-48-44-41 yard shots on this one. Your front foot is way lower than the rear on the hill!
After 14 butts on the front half of the course the final score was Red 250 V/S Green 249 out of a possible 280.

Nothing better than shooting a hunter or field round. Man thats a lot of arrows at each target. I like shooting 4 then having that rest period between.
So put together 4 arrows today. Cut a little too much and had to put a couple pounds into the bow to get the groups to tighten back up. I may put another 10 grains in the nose. I'll let you know how it goes when I finally get to shoot a half.
