Soon after my last post a good friend passed away. [RIP Jack]

I bought an Olympic recurve from his widow at a reasonable price for both of us. Cartel riser with Hoyt limbs. 37 lbs at my draw length.

After about 3 months here is a group at 70 yards with 65 cm target. I am having lots of fun trying to keep it in the white and not worrying if I don't get an X.

Sorry to hear of the loss of a good friend mate. Happy to hear that you were able to obtain something to remember him by.

    Regards,
    Mick

He will be well remembered, at least in our generation. In our game all it takes is for the arrow to touch the line to score higher.

The other day a friend texted me that he scored 299 {300 perfect} and said "Jack would have called it in!"

I'd be happy with that 70 yard group with my compound bow! Great shooting!

Great shooting! I haven't shot my bow further than 10 yards in a long time now. Just started a new job so I have no time for the range. I just set up a garbage bag filled with rags and shoot that in the living room( when the wife's not home ) lol

Another fun day. Here is a picture of my bow and my shadow.

If you look close you can see that my sight is way down on the bar with barely enough room for the arrow to clear.
There was a wind from the left. I am going to blame that for the grouping. I never cant or torgue my bow!
