Is your top pin your 20 yard?

If so I would move it down and get it more centered. Adjust the 30 etc individually from there.

Yes , it is my 20 yard.
One of the instructors at the club told me to move it up to that postion, as I had it farther down. He told me that I would have run out of room for the # 5 pin , as we were going to assign them as:

    1-green pin----20 yards
    2-pin -----30 yards
    3-pin -----40 yards
    4-pin -----50 yards
    5-pin -----60 yards

Does this make since to you? As I have yet to shoot above 30 yards.

depending on how fast your bow is !!
i used to shoot a hoyt with an overdraw and 90gr muzzy broadheads and from 20-30 yards was only like a 1" drop ...
on my other bows i set my first pin at 20 , then 25,30,35,...
when i used to shoot 3d target shoots i used to just run 1 pin and hold high per yardage estimates as a bunch of pins always threw me off ..

worst thing i ever did was go from instinctive shooting to sights ..lol

I have 2 custom longbows from Omega (Keegan) in Pennsylvania. One is Red Oak 3 piece takedown and 45# @28". The second is a Ziricote riser with takedown limbs, 55# @ 28". With either of these, I don't group very well. Picked up a PSE Prophecy and did OK with it, but it was a bit too jumpy for what I wanted in a hunting bow, so I picked up a Quest Rev 2011 model at 60#. Love it! Traded the Prophecy in on a used Quest Primal 2010 model, a little extra speed at the same Draw weight of 60#, both have IQ Sights and Whisker Biscuits on them. Primal is my main hunting bow and the Rev is my main 3D bow. They have the same cams and pretty much the same risers and feel remarkably similar shooting! My pins are 20, 30, 40, 50 on the Rev and 20, 30, 40 on the Primal.

Yes I can see what you are doing. Your eye naturally centers in the circle so I want my pins as close to center as I can.

I can also see where I wouldn't want to be within 60 yards of a mad alligator!

A shelf?!?! What are you going to keep on that shelf?! And why do you need a shelf?! A proper bow doesn't have pins or shelves at all!

When I had the bow built back in 2000 I could have gone with the "War Bow " which has no shelf...just shoot it off your hand....I wasn't ready for that....LOL
