I have tried a few shoulder holsters including customs and never found one comfortable for all day every day carry.

De Santis makes a nice production holster with wide soft shoulder straps, but you must have coats tailored to better conceal any shoulder holster.

It is a good way to carry a long, heavy barreled pistol. Just not all day, every day.

    Nice leather work, John.

Well now I can’t agree Marty, I’ve been daily carry with a shoulder rig for over 30 years, summer is the only time I don’t, I like a jacket over my weapon, hip carry some but I’ve found a shoulder carry very comfortable

Take it from me, carrying a larger pistol is a pain in the butt however you do it. I carried on the job and belt holsters ripped the linings in all my jackets and shoulder holsters are like a weight that is always there. I used a Galco shoulder holster and found it the most comfortable. I carried an H&K Universal 40 cal. which was custom made for the agency heavily beefed up because we used modified rounds, very hot. The gun and two mags and cuffs even with tie downs to stabilize was still a pain.

You really need to try before you buy with a shoulder holster and wear it for 8 hours before you decide.

I am almost giddy with the deal that I just snagged.
A unfired Springfield XDS .45, the now big brother to my recently acquired XDS 9mm.
Both are exactly the same size. The.45 fits beautifully in the same holsters.
It came with a hard case, kydex holster, double magazine carrier and 2 magazines.
The original bar code and price sticker is still on the case. Way, way more than I gave.
The guy was just sick of it taking up room in his home safe and wanted it out.

    A tiny bit more oomph.

Just bought a new Springfield Hellcat to replace a Kimber Micro9 as my summer EDC. Got a good trade price on the Kimber, and gained a bunch of rounds on board. Kimber held 7+!; Hellcat holds 11+1 or 13+1 9mm in the same size package.Name: hc#1 copy.jpg

You'll enjoy the hellcat. Easy to control, nice grouping, haven't had a hiccup.

Yea if you worry about hiding it, I carry open on the hip or shoulder rig, , I wear IWB once in while if I do conceal, but that’s mostly for church

Yep Mike, I have put around 200 rounds through it with no issues. Am going to add some Talon grip tape to beef it up a little for my big mitt.
