    Freddie,

What was that air rifle that I was privileged to be able to shoot when I was at your home last summer? Also what does it weigh??
Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

Yeah we are for any air rifle over 12ft/lb you need a firearms certificate as some of the 40 and 60 and even 100 ft/lb rifles are up there in power with a .22 and .223 rifles now they are even shooting big game with air rifles, I have a FAC licence they cost £88 and last 5 years you will need to wait a few months to get one that's if you pass all the Police checks house visits, you need referees including handing over all your medical records with your given permission If you don't have land to shoot on you will need to join a club or you have no chance, and there will be restrictions regarding ammo and how many and what guns you can own.

Yeah I am a member at a .22lr range. Currently waiting to get a safe so I can apply for my FAC, but the wife insists paying for the kitchen is more important 😂.

Well up here in the land of skirts and haggis we require a licence for any air rifle now.
