I bet that thing will sting your palm! Shot some +P+ out of my buddy's Scandium frame gun and it was very unpleasant. Very light and packable, but not an all day range gun.

It is not that bad because of the all steel shrouded barrel, and cylinder. Not something I'd want to shoot 50 rounds of 357 through in one visit to the range, but I can do 357 five rounds, and recover the target accurately and quickly enough with it.

I had a 340PD years ago that also has the scandium frame, but a titanium barrel and cylinder with steel inserts. That was too light for quickly recovering the target with 357, and there were problems with the frames breaking so I got rid of it. This one is my daily carry now.

That is actually the one my buddy had. It was obscenely light. Had kind of dull grey cylinder and barrel.

So a friend of mine collects machine guns, we get out and test-fire them from time to time.

I can't top the .50 cal - that is very cool.

I did get my son a Henry .22 cal Lever action rifle for Christmas. Took it to the range and it shoots really well - great gun with the classic look.
