Clips go in an M1. Magazines go into an M16A2.
Either way, you put the little boomy things into the big stick that make them go boom. And either way, the end result is a boom, regardless of what you call it. Unless you arent taking good care of your weapon, in which case the end result may only be a click. Which is sad, because boom is much more fun.

I have heard lots of folks bad mouth the PPK, and I never got that. It's a rugged pistol that served many European police units (not to mention military) as a standard side arm for 5 decades. It's got a mystique that other pistols (except, perhaps the 1911) dont have, as well as it's James Bond/Felix Leiter connection!
I had a PPK back in the 80s and lost it... yes... I friggin lost it while hunting... and keep saying I would get another one. I really should!Recovered Razor Addict

Well, we are getting it sorted!
Speaking of the internets, there is always some bad-mouthing of anything you can imagine.
Case in point, I just bought my second Remington R51. The 1st one was supposed to be terrible. Never had an issue for 6 years..
My daughter absconded with it, so I get the newer 'improved' version. At least half the reviews seem good!
Hey! I can tweak a magazine and oil a firearm, eh?

Thanked: 4206Nothing bad looking there.
Like the way the rear sight flows into the back of the stock.
Looks fairly compact..

Does anyone have suggestions on where I can find a barrel for a Winchester model 37, 20 ga, single shot shotgun?
Just picked one up that has a barrel that someone hammered closed at the end.Randolph Tuttle, a SRP Mentor for residents of Minnesota & western Wisconsin

Randy, what will be it's purpose? If a defense thing...Tubing cutter? Hacksaw?
Most likely not worth it even if you could find one.
I will ask around anyway.

Thanked: 3215The knock on the PPK has always been that it is chambered for the 380 ACP caliber.
A 9MM luger has almost 1/3 more velocity. Plus PPK were notorious for failures to feed. That can be addressed by investing in some tuning, which should be done with any pistol you intend to carry.
It should feed flawlessly and with the best accuracy, with the round you will carry.

Agreed. Imagine the plethora of .25/.32 pistols made a hundred years ago. Quality stuff limited to a particular cartridge.
The old revolvers carried a much bigger punch. Is bigger better? To a point, I guess. Ballistics and such.
I had rather be in a corner with a pile of .22 than same weight of .25. JFME
Tweaking on a 240.00 Rem if needed is fine for a lark, but a 850.00 PPK/S should run with no issues. I hope!
I got into the Rem R51 in 2014 when someone stole my .380 Astra Constable. Miss that.
Whadda gun! THAT is where cheap and 9 came in. I kindof miss the initial DA trigger the Constable had.
Good and safe feature.
Still, the grip N go has it's advantage as well. For less!
Did I mention I am cheap?

Thanked: 2209I forgot to mention that one of the prior owners has already shortened the barrel. If I remove any more length then I might be a bit to short?
What I want to do is to simply restore it. No intended purpose in mind. Don't hunt anymore and as a defense weapon a single shot can be improved upon with almost any other weapon.Last edited by randydance062449; 06-29-2020 at 04:26 AM.
