Went to the range yesterday and shot a S&W M&P 9mm compact and a S&W Shield EZ. Also an AR-15. Fun.

I believe I know why the Swiss have always been neutral in the wars, my son bought a Swiss military rifle . We took this beast to the range, I'm not sure of the name of this gun, but it has a t-bolt and it functions like a Swiss watch, but it has a metal butt plate, as many military rifles do, BUT when you pull the trigger, holey cow, this thing hurts, and I don't mean a little, enough to give them a reason to not shoot them. I'm no light weight, but this hurts more than an 8mm Mouser.

I suppose a K31? 7.5x55 Swiss. Talk about expensive ammo!

    Another good reason for neutrality!

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Any opinions on a S&W 686+ for a carry pistol? I’m not a petite flower but am curious if anyone here carries a larger gun on a regular basis.

My oldest brother, sometimes carry's his Raging Bull ( 454 Cassull )

I figure if he misses, the percussion from the muzzle should take out the assailant.
