    Default Hat Man ?

I admit occasionally grab a baseball hat... but only because they are practicle.

For some time I had a grey felt "Indiana Jones" one, it was really quality, but i lost it in a Hotel room in Africa about 10 years ago... I replaced it right away with a "Rogue", one of the best bits of South African kit...

Rogue One Ten Hat - Khaki: Rogue: Kendrick Imports

The new ones have the metal badge on the side, but it is easy to take off.

I have an old one that the wife says "lives" on its own... and a couple of newer ones that can be worn in decent company...

You cannot destroy them... when you go through bush and thorns, you just dip your head.. and it functions like a bulldozer!

Mud, rain, hiking, bush bashing.... its "my" hat.

What do you guys like to wear?

I wear baseball hats nearly everyday, though I do have a bowler that matches my brown three piece wool suit.:

Check my avatar. Wool felt...it's a nice lid.

When I want to look like a punk I put on on old cap cocked backwards...which is never except for this photo for this thread

When I wear a hat it is usually a fedora style. I have a couple of vintage hats from my grandfather and a new Stetson Panama hat that's good for summer.

Don't normally wear a hat but wound up with everything from an Akubra , Stetsons, a couple of Tilleys some others and the ubiquitous ball caps. At least I have a choice when I want to wear one.

    I don't always wear hats, but when I do I prefer tri-cornes.

I frequently wear fedoras, although I wear a boater when wearing a seersucker suit. When wearing a tuxedo during the cooler months, I wear a black Homburg. I also have an antique silk opera hat that I wear when attending white-tie events.

I'm also a fan of tri-cornes, but only when accompanied with my family of pirates.

Never been much of a hat guy, except when I'm fishing, and then it's this sweaty old Cabela's camo job with flip-down magnifier:

My other obsession besides str8s and hones is traipsing remote mountain blue-line streams for wild brook trout (or "specs" as the locals call them) like the one in the lousy Iphone pic. Aaron
