Brickhouse Short Torp on the ride into work this morning.
For a relatively inexpensive stick, with a fresh cup o' java from the French Press it delivers!
Bold and full flavoured, but not overly aggressive like a punch in the mouth; a nice and smooth Puro.
...and here is the Man o War Ruination that I found quite impressive:

...and no, that isn't a single malt.
It's:
Buffalo Trace Bourbon - Home
Which happens to be my bourbon of choice.
I was about to smoke this Tatuaja Petit Cazadores Reserva earlier today, but realized I didn't have time. I thought I'd share a pic of the foot though, I thought this looked odd. Looks like the wrapper is longer than the filler and they haven't trimmed it off.

It doesn't look right to me. Anyone got any thoughts about it? Like I said, I didn't have time to smoke it so if anyone has any advice about lighting it I'd appreciate it. Like should I just go ahead or do I need to cut off the weird bit at the end?
My Mon o' War Coronas are all like that! I love it. I can light the cigar with one match and it gives me a blast oh the wrapper leaf... Yum!!
It's a good thing!! A very good thing me thinks. But you can easily cut it off if you like.
I had an early start with a bit of a drive so I pulled out an other baby cigar for the ride. This one:

I am NOT a glorified cigarette dang you!!
It really wasn't the glorified cigarette I thought it would be. It's been in my humi for at min 6 months, maybe longer - not sure, but man did it taste good with my coffee!! It was really bold with a little bit of spice to go with it. More importantly, the oily residue it left on my lips was just sublime!!
I am shocked I liked it so much! My Pipin Blue is my mainstay tiny cigar... but these are like 1/2 the price and about 2/3s as good. Hmmmm

Cigars - making driving a pleasure since... well, before the car was invented lol!!
Thanks guys, I'm looking forward to that cigar now. I think Friday might be the day for it, I'm pretty busy til then. It has tiny crystals on it, which I've read is "bloom" and is a good thing.
Sooooo, Monday was a singular Cigar day, on the road ALL day
My 50th Birthday no less

Yesterday was slum day :( couldn't find a decent cigar anywhere :(
today though, I picked up 9 cigars at a nice walk in humidor off I85 in South Carolina
and THEN I came across JR Cigars !!!! WooooHoooo
unfortunately Cigar budget nearly tapped but picked up a couple bargains
this Bolivar Robusto
Excellent!
Oh man! I was just thinking of you - it figures you left just as the weather turned and the sun came out! Its 84 and sunny here in KS today. Hope it's sunny by you too!
Hope you had a good time in New Orleans all the same!
Happy belated birthday!!
Hey Thanks David
It's pretty nice here in Williamsburg VA :)
I'm here tonight and tomorrow night then headed north to PA
We had an awesome time in New Orleans!
This is a road trip to be remembered for sure.
I LOVE this country :)

Just had a J Fuago 777. A great mild cigar.

My Father La Reloba this morning on the ride it.

Yeah...I'll be getting more of these!
Breakfast Cigar
Alec Bradley Black Market Robusto
What a thread! Got up early today and had a PLPC 07' today. Of course with coffee.
I understand. It's been a while since I ties one.
It smokes very well
Very well constructed but lacks real flavor and honestly leaves a bit of a bitter finish.
Oh well, I have others :)
Evening Smoke
La Aroma De Cuba Robusto
This one WANTS to be as good as the Belicoso
Just not getting the cocoa from it like I hoped
Started quite peppery ... Will update but seems to go well with CabSav :)
Edit: Finished well but lacked the flavor profile of the Belicoso ... Maybe I'm spoiled :)

La Gloria Cubana MDO no.2 tonite.
Brutal driving day yesterday so basically all (a lot of them) Cigarillos
I did however find this diminutive Arturo Fuente 4 3/4" x 32 ( don't know the name of it)
What a powerful little cigar, very dark wrapper half decent flavor though

Having a great J Fuago 777. With a cup of coffee.

So we decided rather than spend an additional night stateside and miss EVEN MORE MASTERS :) we pushed on through into the wee hours to home.
So this morning's breakfast cigar is a Montecristo #4
Was there a doubt? :)
And so endeth the Great American Roadtrip 2014
Yea, it's good to be home
I won't miss the traffic of Washington and Baltimore though :)
No offense to those who can tolerate living there but I don't think I will ever step foot in Maryland or DC again.
I wish I had planned our rout a bit better from Williamsburg Va to home. Pennsylvania is absolutely gorgeous but it seems accommodations, fuel and food are off the interstate (15) far enough that it doesn't seem very inviting. That said, I do plan to travel in New York State and Pennsylvania more in the future as I have ancestry in that area.
Sure is gonna suck having to go back to work Monday :(
Masters replay and a Sir Winnie for breakfast. Weekend off so I celebrate accordingly!
Off to play some golf rather than watch it lol. Woot.
I have always loved this cigar - though they are getting harder and harder to get.

One guess as to where I was on the 4th lol.

The last SLR double corona from 2001. It's a strange cigars these, has taken forever to be really good (over 7 yrs) and it never had this strong scent, that filled the otherwise empty 50 cab... I'll say it smelled like manure, since I really can't write what it really smelled like. Very, very yummy though!

Perdomo² Limited Edition 2008 Torpedo Natural, 6 1/4 x 54.
Interesting and pleasant cigars for their money.
Good for everyday smoking.

I've yet to have a Perdomo that I didn't enjoy!
Their Lot 23 Connecticut is a great smoke for a very reasonable price.

Had a Brickhouse Mighty Mighty Maduro (Gordo) this morning on the ride in.
Pleasant, sweet and mild yet full...my only complaint (and totally my fault) is that I couldn't enjoy the entire stick before I arrived at work.
Party short from 11' after one of my last non - straight shaves. Great little morning stick with a cup of coffee.
