I remember wanting to get some of those if only for the band lol!! Awesome band! No question - but how does it smoke??

Full bodied smoke. Very complex. Spice, leather and floral notes. Very elegant.
Pricey though, I paid around $50 for a five vitola sampler...
Gurkha Ghost Exorcist for the daily commute...reminiscent of the Rogue Ruthless I had last week or so, but with much better construction.
Flavour wise, I'd give the nod to the Rogue but barely.
Nice lazy daze afternoon in the garage touching up a Japanese western and enjoying a delightful toothy PSD4.

I'm liking it pretty good. Very mild cigar. I'm not particularly good at describing flavors but i would compare to Casa Magna Colorado.
Thanks!, just cut the front lawn :)
Got my sutures out last Wednesday, healing up really well. :)
Perdomo Reserve Cameroon Robusto
Gurkha Evil XO for the commute this morning.
All in all not a bad stick, very mild earthy/leather flavours with a very slight sweet cedar finish.
Construction was great, no burn issues at all.
Room 101 Daruma Papi Chulo, 4 x 42.
One of the smallest cigars, but really interesting and tasty.

A while back I posted about a Room 101 Master Collection 1 Papi Chulo.
Loved the stick, and as it was so small hated that my enjoyment was short lived.
Waiting for my Cigar Monger to bring in a larger vitola.

Well I have taken to enjoying a quick cigar in the morning before work. I always resisted the morning smoke for fear of wanting to smoke through the day. But that hasn't been the case. So I am on a cigarillo kick/search.
Today I put in an order:
- CAO Criollo 4*38. Love this cigar. Takes some getting used to though, and needs rest. 5
- Villiger Export 4*37. Cheap < $1.00, but tastes great. Need no rest - machine rolled box press. 50
- CAO Mx2 4*38. Great black cigar. 5
- Cohiba Black 4*36. Yummy black goodness. 6
- Cohiba Red Dots. Same as above, but not black :)
- Partagas Black 4*36. The roll sucks, but the taste is divine! 6
- Don Pepin Garcia Blue 4.5*32. Lovely oily little things. Nom, nom. 5
- Tatuaje Nicaragua 4.5*32. Never had one? Looking forward to trying it 5
I figure the Villagers will do while I let the other real cigars rest a bit. I haven't really smoked enough cigarillos to commit to boxes yet. With the exception of the Tats, I have enjoyed those I have ordered but never really thought of them as my main cigar size so a little experimentation is needed.
On a positive note, my full sized cigars will get some aging lol!!
If anyone has some recommendations, I am all ears!
Today I enjoyed a Gurkha robusto with a small glass of Johnny Walker Black whilst waiting for the grill to come up to temp. Good way to end/start the week.
Funny. With plenty of sticks in the winecoolerdor to choose from I still reach for a Fuente Hemingway as often as not. Go figure. Good for a trip to the dump, an hour on the mower or an easy smoke after dinner. So it was this weekend...

The colors Mr. Moo, the colors!!
You sure that was a Hemingway lol??
Great pic!!
La Flor Dominicana Ligero

So my buddy loves La Flor's. L.o.v.e.s them. I have never liked them myself, but I bought a bunch for when he comes over. You know how it goes though. You rummage through the old humi, and grab the darnedest things!
I don't know if its my humi running at 65rh or what, but if he shows up any time soon, he's not going to be smoking a LA Flor unless he brings one lol!!
Knowing how cheap he is lol...
I swear this thing tasted like a chocolate stout beer
First one I've tried. Fuller body than most. :)
Your a good friend if you stock your humi for your buddy :)
I kid you not - back in the day over at the cigar shop, we called it the heart attack stick. A guy we knew (not my buddy) who used to smoke em there, had a heart attack half way through one lol!! He made it. He only smokes Connecticut's now :).
That's to say, yes its a full smoke :).
Haha, I believe ya, I smoked it for an hour and a half and put it down with a good 2" left. Its too late at night for something like that :)
Pretty good flavor though, just a bit much for me.
A beautiful day here. Afternoon in the garage honing a couple of razors. Enjoyed one the newer vitola Montecristo Petite No 2. I am a Diplomaticos/Partagas ho so I rarely smoke Monte's.
This was a treat and I see a new Montecristo band. I do not know if the new band will phase into the entire lineup or just for this edition. Always worth a try by Habanos S.A. to try and stay a step ahead of the fakers.

For a break at work.
My wife left the country today, with the kids for a month... and I have been a bad boy :).
I have smoked three today!! THREE!!
Worse still, I am going to write a report here soon for an 8:45 meeting tomorrow (new guy working late out of the house), and you know what?? I am going to have another lol!! In the house no less!!
Living on the edge today gents!! Living on the edge!
Truth be told - I miss my family so much I am acting out to distract myself from the fact that there is no one in the house. This is crazy! It's just too quiet lol!
I don't know what to say - Did I tell you I have been drinking beer since five as well lol??
I am thinking I am getting it all out of my system, as I honestly thought I was going to throw up when I went to the humi to pick up another LOL!! Alas, I chose a Sumatra and another good old Kansas beer to move forward with lol. Time to write that report :).
Yes I am a middle aged man... I just don't deal well with the family leaving well on day one - I'll be ok tomorrow :)!
Attachment 166974
btw - these sure-to-be shaky hands will be wielding a straight tomorrow lol!!
Well they came in today. Woot!
Two things - First; I got a three pack of Gurkha's. I wish I could give them to someone. I just don't like em much. Maybe these will surprise me. Second; the Tatuaje's don't have bands lol. That bugs me - Not sure why :).
Either way - I got me some small cigars for the drive to work - yay.

I like your little flag btw lol :).

The flag is one of those solar lighted thingy's
I must have driven past that place 1,000 times and not known it was there! I mean I am quite sure I had a client next door to the place.
Very cool.
I got to telly you though, their web-site is a little uh, basic lol. I was kind of hoping to order up some "Toronto" sticks :).
Not much info on HH but they make a decent cigar, not great, but decent. Pretty good prices. I see them around local tobacconist shops but nowhere else.
