Thread: What cigar did you smoke today?

A Bolivar Coronas Extra from a cabinet of 50 from 07. Still young, but the initial smell of the unlit Havana is autumn forest floor, dry hay and fine leather. The Miss finally gave it to me, and it is pure heaven paired with a Mojito made the Cuban way with brown sugar, Havana Club Anejo, a handful of mint, crushed ice, juice from half a lime and mineral water. Ohh, life is beautiful!

I usually smoke one of Lynn's when I get the chance!

Let the cat calls and hoots begin. This evening's stogie du jour is none other than a Phillies Titan. This certainly won't put me in the elitist cigar afficianado cohort but it was a decent cigar at an affordable price. It would sure be nice if these came in a 60 ring gauge. Alas, all is not lost though, I've been sitting on a Cohiba for a couple weeks that I will definitely set fire to after Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow.

Cruised from work early today and swung by Thompson's on the way home. Decided to give the 829 Torpedo a go. Had one on the way home; absolute yummy maduro goodness. No way I'm the only one burning the dog rockets. So what are you fellas smokin'?

Just lit up a La Gloria Cubana "Corona Gorda" Maduro to enjoy with a bit of Jim Beam Rye on the rocks.

So far today, La Aroma de Cuba New Blend Lancero, La Aroma de Cuba New Blend Monarch, a San Cristobal Monumento and now another LADC New Blend.

LADC New Blend is a fantastic smoke. So much so in fact that it was the cigar that started my cigar evolution. Prior to smoking that cigar I usually burned 2 or 3 cigars a decade whether I needed to or not. Since then I've generally smoked at least a cigar a day. Tonight, I got back from a 3 mile run and sat on the porch had a sports drink (Pabst Blue Ribbon) and set fire to another 829. Really pretty good for a cheap bundle cigar.

Phillies Titan. I know, this cigar will earn no points with the elitists but for me, it's a great daily smoker, affordable, decent quality, good smoke. I know it's machine made but still quite a serviceable smoke. A cheap cigar that doesn't taste like a cheap cigar.

CAO OSA. I was thoroughly disappointed and hoping that I just got a rotten stick.
