Gents, if you want yourself an earthy cigar - this is it. I have to admit I kept waiting for the taste to develop, but it never came. Great construction though, awesome burn.

Back in the day when I was living in Jamaica, an old timer told me that the ash of a cigar told you allot about the condition of the soil the leaf was grown in. I don't know if its true or not, but supposedly the whiter the ash, the more nutrients the soil the leaf had grown in had lol. I am guessing this cigars leaves were grown in ok soil... not the best, but ok .

It wasn't all that I was hoping for. Pretty good - very earthy. I think these smokes will do well by more rest. I'll smoke the other 4 next year.

Anyway... look what I got in the mail today!! WOOT!

It was okay, didn't blow me away flavour wise but definitely had that cuban taste. I'd be interested in trying few different Bolivar before i turn them away.

Friday the 13th is better to start with good cigar (Alec Bradley Vice Press 6T4) and tasty rum.

Love me a nub maduro or any lagloria. Or a kuba kuba! Deployment taught me many things about cigars, especially keeping them from drying out in 140+ weather
