Good to hear things are going well for you Phil and Tomi, those are some beautiful photo's I could live in a place like that quite happily. Today I smoke my Pete and some BK Cherry Cav. Same old same old, but it is with some sadness that I do today. You see, I just sold my motorbike and it feels like I just murdered a child. I've had a lot of good times, seen a lot of countryside and have had a lot of good times and good memories on that bike. I look forward to the day when I can get back in the saddle. It might have to be something a bit more family friendly though. And even though this isn't the right thread for this sort of thing this is what I think it will be...Chopper 4 | OzTrikes

Here's my evening pipe in the middle of nowhere. 30 km from the town of Pärnu. HH Old Dark Fired from Eltang. Beer made of traditional recipe and scented with honey:

Been here and there around Estonia and Latvia. Wifey and me (and the dog) rented a small house size of a doghouse from the southwestern coast of Estonia. Used it as a base and made daytrips here and there, met few family friends and just took everything easy. Coming back home the day after tomorrow. Here's few pics from the doghouse:
I wanna be in the middle of nowhere too with a honey beer and a pipe ! Those are wonderful pics and of course .....DOGGIE !!!! Woof woof woof woof woof woof !!!!!

Yeah, it's my retort to my wife telling me a bike isn't family friendly enough. The problem is, it ain't cheap. Much saving to be done, but it will be done! Off to enjoy another pipe soon. Just a quick check of SRP then back to Pirates of the Caribbean or Percy and the sea monsters (or whatever it's called) I've yet to decide which I'll watch...Pipe before that though. Priorities!

Tough decision but i understand the point. I've had two wheeler for more than 30 years. During last 20 years or so we've made a tour to some of the bordering countries, Sweden, Estonia, Norway, whatever. Of course with the car too.

This was the first year we didn't do so. Do not know why, i just didn't feel so. For some time i've thought about selling the bike but it's a hard decision. There's so many nice memories and friends from the cold and rainy roads. Seen some wonderful places, met some great persons, more than i can even remember.
Some buy Harley upon turning 50 yo, to feel young maybe. I do not want to be mixed with that kind of image so i guess selling my Guzzi is the thing i have to do.

Now being on a journey in Baltic states with the car. Currently in Salagriva Latvia. Every time we see a bike wifey goes sigh and she says how much she misses those times with the bike. Doesn't make my decision any easier, maybe i should sell my wife too. Or at least change her into two younger ones

Can't be without having something to worry about so if i'm about to sell the bike, i'll probably get myself some classic old car, maybe original Mini, Kleinbuss or something. Or then another bike.

Yep that's what I had it on, then the boss wanted Percy, so since I have PotC on DVD (all of them to date) I promised Morgan (my eldest) that we'd watch it together tomorrow evening. Gives me a chance to break out my clay pipes for that. Can't watch a pirate movie without at least looking the part. Might even see if I can't do a PotD photo all special like.
