One thing I've noticed over the years. The women from this region share a common trait. They are pretty, they look healthy, and they look like they'd be fun to talk to! Too bad California girls couldn't be like that.

Sorry if it aint fancy, it's what I am. This is my Victory Pipe!! I know all you all aren't into sports. This is what I've smoked after the San Francisco Giants win. One more win, and they have it. The picture is some Frog Morton, an awesome pipe, and a vintage lighter from a Bowling Alley that burnt down in "75". I grew up at the Country Lanes, my parents were league bowlers. Good times, from the past to the present. Go Giants!!Name: DSC00331 (1024x768).jpg

Snow, moose, forests, women & men going to sauna together, really? What about something exotic? It would be the same when i'm visiting somewhere else.
Well............Can't say as I've ever shared a sauna with a moose...but who am I to judge...might be interesting ???? As for other cultures. This is what I found out with my friendship with my Russian friend.....seems we all pretty much put our pants or whatever on one leg at a time and have alot of the same hope, dreams and even complaints to some degree. and .....That snow bunny on the left...well she's got some very attractive eyes ! Hoorah for Viking ladies wooooooo !!!!

That's a damn good looking pipe It's seen more use in the past few months than it did in my 12 years of having it...

I smoked some more pipes today.
We just planning a trip to the Dolomites in May/ June and so I prepared some maps with trails there. Here you get an example. All information is in one picture/ PDF we'll transfer to the iPad. I think it is better than maps and books...

The numbers inside are the numbers of roundtrips/trails from different books about the Alpes.
Just realized this is post #5000!
I think it is time to say thank you for all your interesting posts and pictures, friends. This is a very fine thread. I found a lot of friends because of this thread and learned more about some countries.
