And even today, as a life long soccer fan, it is painful for me to confess that football team of Spain is magnificent. One of those realities in life i just have to live with.

For work i've seen Egypt, former Yugoslavia (Kosova, Bosnia-Hertzegovina), Lebanon, Chad, Somalia and Somaliland (not all exactly Mediterranean), different story, but too hot for me as well.
You are so lucky for know such a interesting places, but I see that there are some conflictive areas among this places, great experiences?

I live in a nice place , yes, but not in the Mediterranean, I spent some days in a close friend's home not far from Valencia. I live in a little village near Pamplona, in the North of Spain, Pamplona is very known by the fiesta: San Fermin, running of the bulls,.... the time when the city becomes a jungle and I appreciate the peace of my little village. I grew in the coast, in the Gulf of Biscay, my family have been worked as sailors and as ship's carpenters in the past, but it's a hard job and today there are not working opportunities for those professionals then nobody has following the tradition.

About the football I like the succes of the spanish team, but most of the people think that the politicians have used the Euro 2012 and the World Cup to minimize the real problems of Spain.

When traveling abroad, i do not stay only on crowded areas meant for tourists, but rather go where regular people live. You get to see more and find some interesting places, better local food too. Of course there are areas that aren't so nice etc but i've never experienced threat of any kind. Crete was and is my favorite, not only because of the beautiful landscapes but i did like the people too. They were proud for their country and culture without being arrogant. Never been in northern Spain. Hope i will some day.
I live myself in an area where's lot of tourists, specially at summer time. I do not actually love it, because of the crowds blocking the roads and making too much noise. Wintertime is much more peaceful and silent.
As said Mediterranean is beautiful and great, but little too hot sometimes. I've lived and worked at the shores of Baltic Sea for whole my life. Beautiful but different.

That might be so, i do not know. When the times are bad, people need good news, maybe.
I know that you are doing hard times right now there in the south. I hope they don't get worse. Southern Europe is in the news and other media every day and people here are actually very interested to follow what happens there. I hope you will get better soon and i'm pretty sure it happens. There's always ups and downs.
We've had our own downs but doing well right now. I do not know where this current crisis leads us, but that is a subject of different conversations. I have my wishes and expectations. It is the question for the whole continent, not just south.

You're both very lucky to be able to travel around Europe. Don't get me wrong I love America as much if not more than most but I've always wanted to go to Europe, there's just so much history there.

Today's start is a cob full of Granger as I begin packing up to move...again.

Sliced up Punch Champion in a 7713 Kaywoodie. I normally slice the wrapper length wise then rub the filler out. This time I slice the cigar butt into small dime size coins a loaded them in the pipe. Good full bodied smoke!

Thanks to this forum I have decided that I need a cob. A Jake Hackett custom you say??? That sounds intriguing. Is there anything that makes this a cut above from a standard MM? It seems that somebody putting their name on it likely takes the time to make certain that everything is just right. Does he make smaller sizes? Where do I find them?

Oh, so many questions, but I really need to do a little research.
